About

Christine Capewell | Civil CelebrantAs a Civil Celebrant, I’m a creative writer and teller of life stories and a maker of meaningful rituals and ceremonies.

I view my Celebrant role as one of a trusted advisor to individuals and couples, families and communities as they celebrate life, with all its highs and lows.

As a professional celebrant, I work within Best Practice framework and the Code of Practice of the Attorney General. I also belong to professional celebrancy organisations and carry Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance to ensure the wellbeing of all my clients.

Based in Corowa NSW, I work across the Rutherglen wine district,  Albury/Wodonga areas and Yarrawonga and I travel throughout most areas of  north eastern Victoria and southern NSW for celebrations such as weddings, funeral and other life milestones.

I’m personable, creative and resourceful  and am committed to ensuring that I provide the very best that ceremony can offer: one that’s just right for you.

Whether you choose a ceremony that is traditional, humorous, long or short, it will be meaningfully created, filled with laughter, tender moments and unforgettable memories for all who attend.

As well as my role as a celebrant, I’m a restorer of a period home in Corowa, a lover of Italian architecture and culture and stone walled gardens. I am also a qualified counsellor and Reiki practitioner.

I look forward to meeting with you and sharing my skills, experience and dedication in creating together, a personal and unique and memorable ceremony for your needs.
